
19) Psalm 78 tells about how the men of Ephraim refused to live by God’s law. They sinned and forgot His deeds and the wonders He had shown them.
Psalm 78-38-39 says, “Yet he was merciful; he forgave their iniquities and did not destroy them. Time after time he restrained his anger and did not stir up his full wrath. He remembered that they were but flesh, a passing breeze that does not return.”
No matter what you do, the sins you commit and the trials you go through, our God is a merciful God. Every morning his mercies are new, every day it is as if you have never sinned. God is forgiving and will not destroy you… EVER. Time after time He lets your sins go like leaves in a breeze and never brings them up again. He never dwells on a sin you committed the day before. No matter what, our merciful Savior loves you with the strength of a thousand hearts.
